1 - Clear Your Gutters
Although we don’t specialize in gutters, we still highly recommend you maintain them because it can lead to roof damage. If you don’t clear your gutters before next winter, there’s a greater chance of ice dams. This could wreck your facia board as well as your roof shingles which then could lead to leakage. Depending on the weather conditions in your area, your gutters should be cleaned at least once a year.
2 - Clear Your Roof of Debris
If you don’t clear your roof of debris, such as branches or pine needles, you’re at a higher risk of exterior damage during the colder months. When rain or snow hits your roof, debris can soak up the water. This could then seep through your shingles, creating leaks and causing further damage.
