3 Ways to Show Your Roof Some Love This Year

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and your roof might need just as much love as your Valentine. Many homeowners might not realize how important it is to care for their roof. Why is this so important? Because your roof is what protects you and your home from major weather events. So here are 3 ways you can show your roof some love this year:

Coeur d'Alene, Hayden, Post Falls, Boise, Caldwell, Nampa, Idaho Roof Repair, Replacement, Insurance Claim Service and Experts
Show Your Roof Some Love with ARI's Idaho Roofing Services

1 - Clear Your Gutters

Although we don’t specialize in gutters, we still highly recommend you maintain them because it can lead to roof damage. If you don’t clear your gutters before next winter, there’s a greater chance of ice dams. This could wreck your facia board as well as your roof shingles which then could lead to leakage. Depending on the weather conditions in your area, your gutters should be cleaned at least once a year.

2 - Clear Your Roof of Debris

If you don’t clear your roof of debris, such as branches or pine needles, you’re at a higher risk of exterior damage during the colder months. When rain or snow hits your roof, debris can soak up the water. This could then seep through your shingles, creating leaks and causing further damage. If you aren’t comfortable with cleaning your roof, be sure to contact us. We’d be happy to send one of our specialists to get the job done!

3 - Schedule a FREE Inspection with an ARI Roof Representative

ARI's founder, Charles Hall, became one of Idaho's very first HAAG certified contractors in 2012. Since then, we've been implementing his roofing knowledge throughout the company to ensure our homeowners are receiving the most qualified services. If you attempt to inspect your own roof, it could be very dangerous. And without the proper knowledge, you might not know what type of damage to look for.

Investing in the care of your roof will help it last longer, so make sure it receives some love this Valentine’s Day by calling ARI at 208.350.1008.
